Fourth Schedule (Subparagraph 6(1)(m)(ii)) under the Tourism Industry Act and the Tourism Industry Regulations (Tour Operating Business and Travel Agency Business) 1992

refers to the "Standard Terms and Conditions for Outbound Tour Packages". This schedule sets out the standard guidelines that must be complied with by tour companies and customers, including matters relating to booking deposits, full payments, amendment charges, booking cancellations, responsibilities of tour companies, liabilities, refunds, and travel conditions for outbound tour packages. The main purpose of this schedule is to protect consumer rights and ensure that tourism industry operations are conducted transparently, fairly, and systematically in accordance with Malaysian law.

Policy 2

The Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709) or APDP is one form of cyber legislation certified in the implementation of the Multimedia Corridor (MSC). This Act is the Tenth National Policy Goal stated in the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 which is to ensure the security of information and the reliability and integrity of the network.

The Personal Data Protection Bill 2009 was circulated in September 2000 to public and private agencies for comments and public opinion and was approved by Parliament on 5 April 2010 and approved by the Yang Dipertuan Agong on 2 June 2010.

The main objective of this law is to regulate the processing of personal data in commercial transactions by Data Users and protect the interests of Data Subjects.
